I approach web development as one complete product: interface, backend, APIs, data, integrations, performance and launch. That lets me take a project from the problem to a working result instead of treating it as disconnected pieces.
For a client, that means responsibility does not disappear between frontend and backend. I can follow the data through the system, understand how the parts affect each other and investigate issues across the architecture rather than only on one screen.
